So I did a Google using the search words ‘erotic gay stories’ and here are the top of the list; the highest ranking three that I found and a little bit about each one.

Nifty is probably one of the most well know collection of gay short stories on the net and has a clear mission statement, to: “Provide a generally accessible, representative collection of the diverse hopes, dreams, aspirations, fantasies, and experiences of the Queer Community as expressed on the Internet through stories and information as a resource for research, exploration, and scholarship.” But it’s not simply an academic site as that statement may make it sound. It has been on line since 1993 and now has approximately 100,000 stories in its archives. The archives include gay, bi, lesbian and transgender stories. You can access the stories for free but you are welcome to make a donation too. A huge site for lovers of erotic gay reading.

Is a site that features both gay and straight erotic stories but the divisions are clearly marked. Select Gay stories and, at the bottom of the list of site sponsors, you click into the stories area. But you have to sign up (free) for a username and password. As an author you can submit your stories here and as a reader you can enjoy not only the stories but many other features of the site too. The stories are set out in categories, you can view the top rated stories, check out the authors’ details, search the stories by keywords and there are a load of picture and video extras too though these are mainly external ‘feed’ sites. This is a good site if you’re a first time writer as you can get feedback and votes on your work from other readers. It’s also a good site for a good read with lots of diverse written content.

Bookpuppy has all kinds of things going on. It is a paysite but at $6.00 a month it’s not expensive. Particularly when you think that with your first six months’ membership you get to download 19 e-books. I’ve seen some of their novels for sale in paperback and on other e-book sites for around $10.00 each by the way. But you don’t just get e-books you also access hundreds of stories by some very well known writers. They hold competitions and have a monthly image gallery for ‘inspiration’, which is mainly twink content. There is also advice for writers, news on publishers looking for submissions and extra bonus material including feed sites and cartoons, free access to another site and on-going stories. If you are a writer you can get free access in return for submitting your work. So, this site has a bit of everything or anything that has to do with reading or writing erotic gay stories – including pictures.
